When you wish upon a star...

Jill informed me today that when you wish upon a star, your wish will come true. She said she was going to wish to be a dog and she needed some help deciding which dog she should be. I said I was not sure people could turn in to dogs. She assured me that that if you wish upon a star, it will happen. So, I suggested a poodle, she didn't like that too much, nor my other suggestion, to be a chiuaua. Then we talked about the down side to being a dog--you have to eat dog food, you poop on grass, etc. She became very pensive after that, and our conversation ended. Such a great lesson to learn, be careful what you wish for because you just might get it.

Our garden and other photos

Thanks to Grandpa J for giving Leah the Hello Kitty masked-cape. She is loving it!
Leah loves to wear her swimsuit. We went swimming in the backyard pool. When I take her to the girl's swimming lessons, she pounds on the partition glass and cries "wa-wa" waiting for someone to let her in. She really likes water.

Jill is finally swimming on her own. Yeah!! She is going to start kindergarten in July and start her piano lessons.

Grandma Liz wanted to see photos of our garden...

Jill's Big Adventure

Jill and Christian had so much fun going to Utah for the weekend of Uncle Matthew's graduation. Jill was excited to see the clouds up close in the airplane. She loved seeing her cousins and wishes she lived right by them. Thanks to all of you that helped them have such a memorable experience. I am so grateful she has such fun cousins and aunts & uncles and grandparents that love her!
I love seeing Luke trying escape out the door. Jill wasn't too sure about going to a house full of boys, but she sure changed her mind fast...she had a blast playing with all the boys.

Christian had a lot of fun holding baby boys--Luke and Noah. Jill fell asleep on Saturday and took a 2 hour nap--that never happens!
Cousins Christian, Mitchell, Michael, and Abigail.

Jill at the airport with daddy.

Wow, I thought that was Ethan in this picture, but now I think it is Christian--Am I wrong, Sarah? (they look a lot alike) Also, cutie-pie Abbie.

So cute!
Jill, Bethany, and Abigail at the graduation. Jill fell down and hit her head on a chair, she know has a purplish-blue eye lid (I told her it looks like makeup and she liked that.)

I wish we could have all made it--They both had a wonderful time!

My little princess...Leah

The princess dress plus the pacifier crack me up. She wants to be so big, but she's still not ready to give up the benefits of being a baby. Her hair is definitely getting more blond, but, to Christian's dismay, her eyes are turning green. She is still very little, only about 22 pounds, but she is fierce. I think we are all a little scared of her.

Happy Easter!

An Easter miracle... ...they are all looking at the camera at the same time--that NEVER happens!

Leah loves to jump on the trampoline, especially if Daddy is there, too. She actually kept her bows in her hair ALL day! Easter is a day of miracles.

Looking for Easter Eggs--Dad, I mean the Easter Bunny hid them a little too well.

Showing off the goods.
Mandated Easter photos, Leah would not comply.
